Sun Run Motorcycle Tour turned out to be a great hit

The Peace Country Sun Run Motorcycle tour  that was held from July 29-31attracted motorcyclists from all over the province to the open roads of Northern Alberta. Over  50 motorcyclists took part in this event which started at Grande Prairie on July 30 and arrived in Peace River in the evening. The route of the bike race included Peace River via Shaftesbury and head to Tangent Park and Girouville, then back through Peace River and on to Fairview, where the tour ended at the Harley Davidson building.

The first Sun Run was held in 2009, and has since attracted more cyclists who are looking for a new venture to the unexplored hinterlands of the province. Apart from adventure, this bike tour offered some of the most beautiful scenery of Alberta and nature trails, which was the added advantage of this racing event.
